Organizational Development and Consultation Services

At Beacon we provide a broad range of organizational development and consultation services. We focus on the human factor that influences productivity, implementation of strategic initiatives and the bottom line.

Beacon's organizational development, consultation, and training services are provided to for-profit companies, not-for-profit organizations, and municipalities.  Our services are customized to each of our client organizations and include:

Critical Incident Services

  • Critical Incident Debriefings are provided on site after a death, robbery, violent act or other major incident which impacts the functioning and emotions of employees or the public.  We provide professional counseling and educational services in a timely fashion to facilitate adjustment to a major stressor.
  • Violence Prevention Training and Risk Assessments are crucial in attempting to provide and assure that there is as safe a workplace as possible.  We review your policies and procedures, evaluate employees who may be at risk, train managers, and serve on threat assessment teams to facilitate risk reduction.

Management Effectiveness Training

  • Management Team Evaluations and Training help your team perform better than the sum of its parts.  Our programs address communication and relationship difficulties, leadership skills, and problems with developing and implementing strategic plans.

  • Fitness of Duty Evaluations are provided by our professional staff to help determine the appropriateness of an employee being on site.  We can provide both psychological and psychiatric evaluations.
  • Workers Compensation Evaluations are provided to help assess the impact of an injury on an employee's emotional and behavioral functioning.  We also assess the factors which might be contributing to an employee's disability and the options that might be appropriate with regard to a return to work.
